The story behind the name: Big Bear Garage Door Services
Grand Father Bear was just nicknamed Bear, until one day when grandfather bear was hunting with some friends and they came across a large bear sitting at Grandfather’s favorite hunting place. Grandfather’s friends said let’s be quiet and walk away. But Grandfather being the “Bear” that he was, would have none of that. So he waved his hands and began to shout. The bear stood tall waving his paws but Grandfather would not turn to leave. After a few minutes of this “Stand Off’ and four men sweating in their pants, for what ever reason the bear turned and left. From that day on Grandfather was known as the Bigger Bear and was named Big Bear for the rest of his life. So the story goes…..
